Terms of Service
Terms for PDFnestor packages, quotations, and custom digital-document services.
Last Updated: September 22, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of digital-document services provided by PDFnestor (“PDFnestor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing a package, accepting a quotation, submitting payment, or otherwise instructing PDFnestor to begin work, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms.
1. Services and Agreement
PDFnestor provides digital-document services, which may include interactive and fillable PDFs, document design and formatting, PDF editing, forms, calculations, document automation, optimization, and related custom services.
The specific scope of each project is determined by the applicable package description, written quotation, invoice, order confirmation, or other written project confirmation provided by PDFnestor. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a written quotation specifically prepared for your project, the quotation will control regarding the project-specific scope, price, delivery arrangements, and included revisions.
Marketing materials, examples, portfolio items, preliminary discussions, and oral conversations do not expand or override the agreed written scope.
2. Changes to Project Scope
A revision means a reasonable modification to work already performed that remains within the original agreed requirements.
Requests that introduce new pages, substantially changed content, additional forms or fields, new calculations, new functionality, additional document versions, changed business rules, or other requirements not included in the original scope are considered scope changes, not revisions.
PDFnestor may provide a separate quotation, change order, or additional charge for such work. We are not required to begin out-of-scope work until the additional scope, price, and any revised delivery schedule have been agreed.
3. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide complete and accurate instructions; usable source files and materials; reasonable responses needed to complete the project; revision feedback within a reasonable period; careful review of proofs and final deliverables; and content that you own, license, or otherwise have permission to use.
You are responsible for verifying names, addresses, figures, calculations, legal wording, regulatory statements, business rules, spelling, and other factual content before final approval. PDFnestor provides document-development and design services and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, financial, or other professional advice unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Final approval constitutes your confirmation that you have reviewed the deliverable and consider it suitable for the agreed purpose, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Source Files and Content
You retain ownership of the content and materials you provide to PDFnestor. By providing those materials, you grant PDFnestor limited permission to access, reproduce, modify, process, and store them only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested services, administer the project, meet legal obligations, and exercise rights under these Terms.
You represent that your instructions and supplied materials do not infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other legal rights.
5. Delivery Estimates
Any delivery date or turnaround time communicated by PDFnestor is an estimate unless we expressly agree in writing that a deadline is guaranteed.
The delivery period begins when PDFnestor has received the required payment or deposit, complete and usable source files, and sufficiently clear instructions to begin the agreed work. Time spent waiting for missing information, replacement files, approvals, decisions, or revision feedback does not count toward an estimated turnaround time. Complex projects may require additional time.
6. Delays and Events Beyond Reasonable Control
PDFnestor will not be responsible for reasonable delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include public or religious holidays observed in Pakistan; unforeseen project complexity; orders or communications received outside normal Pakistan business hours; internet, hosting, telecommunications, electricity, or network interruptions; failure of third-party platforms; flood, heavy rain, fire, earthquake, natural disaster, civil emergency, or similar circumstances; and other events reasonably outside PDFnestor's control.
Where such circumstances affect a project, the delivery schedule will be extended by a reasonable period.
7. PDF Compatibility and Third-Party Software
PDF functionality may differ between PDF readers, browsers, operating systems, mobile devices, printers, and third-party applications. Interactive features such as calculations, JavaScript, validation, digital signatures, dynamic fields, buttons, and advanced form behaviour may not operate identically in every PDF viewer.
If compatibility with a particular application, platform, device, accessibility standard, workflow, or PDF specification is essential, you must identify that requirement before work begins. PDFnestor is not responsible for limitations introduced by third-party software, operating systems, PDF viewers, browsers, security settings, or later software updates outside our control.
8. Payments
Fixed-price packages may be purchased through Paddle or another payment method made available by PDFnestor. Custom projects may require full advance payment, a deposit, or milestone payments as specified in the applicable quotation.
Payment is due according to the terms displayed at checkout or stated in the quotation or invoice. PDFnestor may pause work, withhold final deliverables, or adjust the delivery schedule if a required payment becomes overdue. Where Paddle acts as the payment or checkout provider, applicable taxes, currencies, payment processing, receipts, and checkout-related matters may also be governed by Paddle's applicable checkout terms and policies.
9. Revisions
Unless a written quotation states otherwise, fixed packages include: Basic — up to 2 revision rounds; Standard — up to 3 revision rounds; and Premium — up to 5 revision rounds. Custom quotations will specify the number of revisions included.
A revision round means one consolidated set of reasonable changes submitted by the Customer at one time. Sending individual changes through multiple messages does not automatically create separate revision entitlements. Revisions must remain within the original project scope. Additional revisions may be accepted at PDFnestor's discretion and may require an additional fee.
10. Customer Delays and Inactive Projects
If you do not provide requested information, approval, payment, or revision feedback within a reasonable period, PDFnestor may place the project on hold. If there is no meaningful response for 30 consecutive days, we may treat the project as inactive.
An inactive project may require rescheduling before work resumes. If substantial time has passed or requirements have changed, PDFnestor may provide a revised quotation before restarting work. Amounts already earned for work completed remain payable.
11. Refunds and Service Issues
Because PDFnestor provides customised digital services, refunds are not automatically available merely because a Customer changes their mind after work has begun.
If a delivered file materially fails to meet the requirements that were provided and expressly agreed when the package was purchased or quotation accepted, you should notify PDFnestor and provide reasonable details of the issue. Where reasonably possible, PDFnestor will first be given an opportunity to correct the non-conforming work. If the agreed requirements cannot reasonably be fulfilled, an appropriate full or partial refund may be provided based on the circumstances and work affected.
Refunds are generally not available for a change of mind after work has begun; requirements introduced or changed after work began; functionality not included in the agreed scope; dissatisfaction based solely on subjective preferences after final approval; incompatibility with software or platforms not identified as required before work began; or portions of custom work already properly completed.
Nothing in this section limits any refund, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
12. Cancellations
You may request cancellation before the project is completed. If work has not begun, PDFnestor may refund the amount paid, less any non-refundable payment-processing charges where lawfully applicable.
If work has already begun, PDFnestor may retain or charge an amount reasonably corresponding to work already performed and costs already incurred. Where a quotation specifies a non-refundable deposit, that condition applies to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of materials you supply. Subject to full payment of all amounts due, PDFnestor grants you the right to use the final delivered document for the purpose contemplated by the applicable package or quotation.
Unless expressly transferred in writing, PDFnestor retains ownership of its pre-existing and reusable intellectual property, including methods and workflows, know-how, scripts and reusable code, generic calculations, templates, reusable components, design systems, processes, and tools developed independently of your confidential content. A custom quotation may provide different intellectual-property terms where required.
14. Portfolio and Promotional Use
PDFnestor will not intentionally publish confidential client information as portfolio material. Identifiable client work will be displayed publicly only with permission or after it has been appropriately sanitised so that confidential or sensitive client information is not disclosed. You may notify PDFnestor in writing that you do not want your project used for portfolio or promotional purposes.
15. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect non-public information received from the other in connection with a project and not disclose it except as reasonably necessary to provide or receive the services; to service providers who require access for legitimate operational purposes; where the other party consents; or where disclosure is required by law or lawful authority.
These confidentiality obligations continue after completion or termination of the project. Additional information about how personal information and uploaded files are handled is described in PDFnestor's Privacy Policy.
16. File Storage and Retention
PDFnestor may temporarily retain source files, working files, communications, and completed deliverables for project administration, revisions, support, security, backup, and record-keeping.
Unless a longer period is required by law, agreed in writing, or reasonably necessary to resolve an active dispute, project files intended for temporary storage may be deleted after the applicable retention period stated in our Privacy Policy. Customers should maintain their own backup copies of all source materials and final deliverables. PDFnestor should not be treated as a permanent document-storage or backup service.
17. Prohibited Requests
PDFnestor may refuse, suspend, or terminate projects involving fraud or attempted fraud; forged or deceptive documents; unauthorised signatures or impersonation; unlawful content or activity; infringement of intellectual-property rights; deceptive alteration of official or financial documents; unsafe or unauthorised handling of confidential information; or other activity that PDFnestor reasonably believes would violate applicable law or third-party rights.
Where work is stopped for such reasons, amounts attributable to work already properly performed remain payable, subject to applicable law.
18. No Guarantee of Business or Legal Outcome
PDFnestor warrants that it will perform the agreed services with reasonable care and skill. However, unless expressly agreed in writing, PDFnestor does not guarantee that a document will produce a particular commercial, legal, regulatory, administrative, financial, conversion, acceptance, or business result.
The Customer remains responsible for determining whether a completed document is appropriate for its intended business, legal, regulatory, or operational use.
19. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful under applicable law. Subject to that qualification, PDFnestor's total aggregate liability arising from or relating to a particular package, quotation, or project will not exceed the total fees actually paid to PDFnestor for that specific package or project giving rise to the claim.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDFnestor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to the services. These limitations apply whether a claim arises in contract, negligence, tort, or another legal theory and even where the possibility of such loss has been communicated.
20. Termination and Suspension
Either party may terminate a project if the other materially breaches the agreed terms and, where the breach can reasonably be corrected, fails to correct it after being given a reasonable opportunity to do so.
PDFnestor may suspend or terminate work immediately where reasonably necessary because of non-payment; fraud or suspected unlawful activity; a prohibited request; abusive or threatening conduct; security concerns; or prolonged failure by the Customer to provide information necessary to continue the project. Termination does not remove payment obligations relating to work properly performed before termination.
21. Electronic Communications
You agree that project instructions, quotations, approvals, invoices, notices, and other communications may be exchanged electronically, including through email, website forms, checkout systems, and other agreed electronic methods. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and monitoring the email address supplied with your order.
22. Changes to These Terms
PDFnestor may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will apply prospectively from the date the updated Terms are published unless applicable law requires otherwise. The Terms applicable to an existing paid project will ordinarily be those in effect when the order was placed or quotation accepted, unless the parties agree otherwise or a change is required by law.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms together with the applicable package description, accepted quotation, invoice, written project confirmation, and any policies expressly incorporated into them constitute the agreement between you and PDFnestor regarding the relevant services. They replace prior discussions or understandings concerning the same project to the extent those discussions are inconsistent with the final written agreement.
25. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to PDFnestor's services are governed by the laws of Pakistan, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction that applicable law provides to a Customer.
The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute amicably through written communication. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be submitted to the courts having competent jurisdiction in Pakistan in accordance with applicable law.
26. Contact
Questions, complaints, cancellation requests, or notices concerning these Terms may be sent to support@pdfnestor.com. When contacting us about an existing project, please include your order, quotation, or project reference where available.
